- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including pre- and post-operative evaluations.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, adjust anesthesia levels as needed, and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Stay up-to-date on current anesthesiology practices, procedures, and technologies to provide the best possible care to patients.
- Educate patients and their families on the risks and benefits of anesthesia and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, including patient history, medications, and anesthesia administration.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for residents, fellows, and other staff members in the department.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent infections, injuries, and other hazards in the workplace.

Medical Degree: Candidates For This Position Must Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (M.d.) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (D.o.) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification: Applicants Must Be Board Certified Or Eligible For Certification By The American Board Of Anesthesiology (Aba) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Anesthesiology (Aoba).
Relevant Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Anesthesiology Is Required For This Position, With A Preference For Experience In A Comprehensive Or Academic Setting.
Knowledge And Skills: Candidates Must Have A Strong Foundation In All Areas Of Anesthesiology, Including General, Regional, And Acute Pain Management. They Should Also Possess Excellent Communication, Critical Thinking, And Problem-Solving Skills.
Teaching And Research Experience: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Demonstrated Commitment To Teaching And Research, And A Track Record Of Excellence In These Areas. Previous Experience In Mentoring And Supervising Residents And Fellows Is Preferred.
