
Oncology Patient Coordinator

- Coordinate and manage the care of oncology patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Communicate with patients, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure a seamless and efficient care experience.
- Utilize knowledge and expertise in oncology to provide exceptional care and support to patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about their treatment plans and provide resources for support and assistance.
- Monitor and track patient progress and report any changes or concerns to healthcare team.
- Coordinate appointments, procedures, and tests for patients, ensuring timely and efficient care.
- Assist in managing patient flow and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance patient care and experience.
- Attend trainings and stay current on developments in the field of oncology.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines in handling patient information.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and other healthcare facilities to ensure proper coverage and coordination of care.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, and provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or Related Field.
Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Oncology.
Knowledge Of Oncology Treatment And Care Processes.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Caregivers, And Healthcare Team Members.
