- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Pediatric ER, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of care to patients.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of patient care and safety in the Pediatric ER.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of nurses, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to nurses to promote professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with other hospital departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care for pediatric patients.
- Monitor and manage budgets and resources to maintain cost-effective operations in the Pediatric ER.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in pediatric emergency care and implement changes as needed to improve patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards in the Pediatric ER.
- Handle any patient or family concerns or complaints in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to improve the overall functioning of the Pediatric ER and the hospital as a whole.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of South Carolina.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Pediatric Emergency Room Setting.
Previous Management Or Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Pediatric Emergency Room.
