- Perform nuclear medicine procedures accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and safety measures.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in nuclear medicine, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate care and support as needed.
- Perform quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and protocols for patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines related to nuclear medicine procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements and changes in nuclear medicine technology and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Participate in the training and supervision of new nuclear medicine technologists.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of radioactive materials.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Handle any emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Current Certification From The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Nuclear Medical Technologist, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Nuclear Medicine Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
