  1. Perform MRI scans on patients as ordered by physicians, following proper protocols and safety measures.
  2. Ensure accuracy and quality of images by adjusting equipment settings and positioning patients correctly.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper disposal of hazardous materials and adherence to infection control protocols.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images for diagnosis and treatment.
  5. Calibrate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshoot any technical issues, and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  6. Provide compassionate care to patients, answering any questions or concerns they may have and ensuring their comfort throughout the imaging process.
  7. Keep detailed records of patient information, scans performed, and any adverse reactions or incidents that occur.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with new technology, techniques, and safety procedures.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
  10. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by communicating effectively with team members and participating in team meetings and projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: Must Be Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri).

  • Education: Must Have Completed An Accredited Program In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Experience: Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience As An Mri Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Mri Equipment: Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Mri Equipment, Including Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Troubleshooting Procedures.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Must Also Possess Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail In Order To Accurately Document Patient Information And Maintain Records.
