  1. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients throughout the hospital using advanced technology and equipment.
  2. Observe and report any irregularities or changes in patient heart rhythms to the healthcare team.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records for all monitored patients.
  4. Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure timely and appropriate interventions for patients with abnormal cardiac rhythms.
  5. Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and escalate any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  6. Provide prompt and courteous communication to patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding cardiac monitoring.
  7. Maintain a thorough understanding of EKG interpretation and utilize this knowledge to accurately identify and report any abnormalities.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and patient privacy guidelines.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on advancements in cardiac monitoring technology and techniques.
