  1. Conduct laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently according to established protocols and standards.
  2. Prepare and analyze samples, including blood, tissue, and body fluids, using various laboratory equipment.
  3. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functionality and inventory levels.
  4. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  5. Document and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to research initiatives.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in continuous education to enhance knowledge and skills.
  8. Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
  9. Assist with training and mentoring new laboratory technicians and students.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations and patient care.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with implementing new processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  13. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and educational sessions.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Medical Laboratory Technology Or Related Field

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) From A Nationally Recognized Accrediting Agency, Such As Ascp Or Amt

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Environment

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Equipment And Procedures, Including Specimen Processing, Analysis, And Quality Control

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Record And Report Results
