We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehab Unit.   1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Inpatient Rehab Unit.
  2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  3. Monitor and record patient's vital signs and medical information.
  4. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Assist with patient rehabilitation activities and provide emotional support as needed.
  6. Educate patients and their families on medications, treatments, and care plans.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  9. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  10. Continuously assess and evaluate patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  11. Provide guidance and support to Nursing Assistants and other team members.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry standards, best practices, and regulations related to nursing.
  13. Demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
  14. Uphold the values and mission of MUSC Health in all interactions and duties.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lpn License: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Lpn License From The State Of South Carolina, Indicating That They Have Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Practice As A Licensed Practical Nurse.

  • Experience In Inpatient Rehab: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In An Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, As This Role Requires Specialized Knowledge And Skills In Caring For Patients With Complex Medical Conditions.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Working In A Fast-Paced Healthcare Environment Requires Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, As Well As The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team Of Healthcare Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Nursing Principles And Best Practices: Candidates Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Nursing Principles And Best Practices, Including Knowledge Of Medication Administration, Wound Care, And Patient Assessment.

  • Ability To Work Under Pressure: Inpatient Rehab Units Can Be High-Stress Environments, And Candidates Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively, While Maintaining A Calm And Professional Demeanor.
