Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Social Work: A Minimum Requirement For The Licensed Independent Social Worker Position At Musc Health Is A Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited University.

  • State Licensure: Candidates Must Possess A Current And Active Licensed Independent Social Worker (Lisw) License In The State Of South Carolina.

  • Clinical Experience: Musc Health Requires At Least Two Years Of Post-Licensure Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Or Mental Health Setting. This Experience Should Include Direct Patient Care, Case Management, And Crisis Intervention.

  • Specialized Training: Applicants Should Have Specialized Training In Areas Such As Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, And Evidence-Based Practices For Mental Health Treatment.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Systems: A Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Systems, Including Insurance Regulations And Reimbursement Processes, Is Essential For The Role Of Licensed Independent Social Worker At Musc Health.
