
GI Technical Specialist

- Conduct GI technical procedures: The GI Technical Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of GI technical procedures, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, with precision and efficiency.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort: The specialist will prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, including monitoring vital signs, administering sedation, and providing post-procedure care.
- Maintain equipment and supplies: The specialist will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all GI equipment and ensuring an adequate supply of necessary materials for procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: The specialist will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination and communication during procedures.
- Stay current on industry advancements: The specialist will stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in GI technology, procedures, and best practices, and implement them in their work.
- Train and educate staff: The specialist will provide training and education for new and existing staff on GI procedures, equipment, and protocols.
- Quality control and assurance: The specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of all GI procedures performed, including maintaining accurate records and adhering to established protocols.

- Continuously improve processes: The specialist will actively participate in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance the efficiency
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Biomedical Engineering.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Gi Department.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Gi Systems And Equipment, Including Endoscopes, Ultrasound Machines, And Electronic Medical Records.
Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Maintaining Gi Equipment, As Well As Experience With Software And Hardware Upgrades.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Other Staff Members On Gi Technology And Procedures.
