Family Medicine Residency Director

This individual will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all aspects of the program to ensure the highest quality of residency training and patient care. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement residency program curriculum and evaluate outcomes
2. Oversee the selection of residents and ensure they are meeting program requirements
3. Act as a mentor and role model for residents and faculty
4. Manage resources, budget, and staff to ensure program is running efficiently
5. Monitor and evaluate resident performance and provide feedback
6. Foster and maintain relationships with other healthcare institutions and organizations
7. Collaborate with other departments in MUSC Health to ensure patient safety and quality care
8. Monitor and comply with all accreditation standards and regulations for the program
9. Represent program at conferences and meetings to promote residency program and MUSC Health
10. Develop strategies to increase program awareness and recruitment efforts
