  9. Serve as a liaison between MUSC Health and external agencies, providing updates and coordinating resources during emergency situations.
  10. Remain calm and composed in high-pressure and fast-paced emergency situations, providing clear direction and guidance to staff.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote collaboration and preparedness.
  12. Maintain accurate and detailed records of emergency events, drills, and exercises.
  13. Conduct post-event evaluations and create reports to identify areas for improvement and inform future emergency planning efforts.
  14. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to emergency management.
  15. Continuously assess and update emergency plans to account for changes in the community and healthcare landscape.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Emergency Management, Public Health, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Emergency Management Or Disaster Response, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Emergency Management Regulations And Protocols.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage And Coordinate Teams In High-Stress Emergency Situations.
