- Perform high-quality EEG tests on patients using state-of-the-art technology.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate EEG testing protocols.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs during EEG procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during EEG testing.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of EEG results and patient information.
- Educate patients and their families on the EEG procedure and answer any questions or concerns.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing EEG tests.
- Continuously stay updated on advancements in EEG technology and techniques.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.
- Provide support and guidance to junior EEG technologists, if applicable.
Bachelor's Degree In Electroneurodiagnostic Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Certification As An Electroencephalography Technologist (R.eeg.t) From The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Conducting Electroencephalography Tests And Interpreting Results.
Strong Knowledge Of Neuroanatomy, Physiology, And Pharmacology.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team And With Patients From Diverse Backgrounds.
