
EEG Technologist III-Inpatient

- Perform high-quality EEG procedures on inpatient population using advanced technology and techniques.
- Monitor and record EEG data accurately and efficiently.
- Analyze and interpret EEG data to assist physicians in diagnosing and managing patient conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in EEG technology and techniques.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of EEG equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document all procedures and findings accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and family members on the EEG procedure and answer any questions or concerns.
- Mentor and train junior EEG technologists.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate with other departments and personnel to ensure seamless patient care.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field (E.g. Neuroscience, Biology, Psychology) Or Equivalent Combination Of Education And Experience.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience As An Eeg Technologist In An Inpatient Setting.
Current Certification As A Registered Eeg Technologist (R. Eeg T.) From The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret).
Knowledge Of Advanced Eeg Procedures, Including Long-Term Monitoring, Icu Eeg, And Intraoperative Monitoring.
Experience With A Variety Of Eeg Equipment And Software, Including Digital Eeg Systems And Neurophysiological Monitoring Systems.
