- Collaborate with the nursing and medical staff to provide high-quality care to patients.

- Act as a resource for patients and their families, answering questions and addressing concerns.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including patient confidentiality and code of conduct.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: As An Ed Tech, It Is Essential To Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Ensure A Basic Level Of Education And Understanding Of Medical Terminology.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Certification: A Cna Or Emt Certification Demonstrates A Level Of Knowledge And Skills Necessary For Providing Direct Patient Care In A Fast-Paced Emergency Department Environment.
Previous Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting: Experience Working In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting, Particularly In An Emergency Department, Is Highly Desirable For An Ed Tech Position. This Experience Provides A Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare System And Prepares Individuals For The Demands Of The Job.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Ed Techs Are Often Required To Perform Basic Life Support Measures, Such As Cpr, In Emergency Situations. Having A Current Bls Certification Is A Crucial Qualification For This Role.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Ed Techs Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Family Members, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A High-Stress Environment. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Providing Quality Patient Care And Working Effectively In A Team.
