- Maintain and organize all medical records and documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all medical records and documents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
- Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality when handling medical records.
- Utilize document management software and systems to organize and store electronic records.
- Regularly review and update records to reflect any changes or updates in patient information.
- Ensure all records are properly labeled and easily accessible for healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and track document requests and ensure timely delivery to the appropriate parties.
- Assist in training new staff members on document management procedures and systems.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with medical records to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep track of expiration dates for documents and ensure timely renewal or replacement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient document workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient document management.
- Continuously strive to improve document management processes and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families when handling document requests or inquiries.
Bachelor's Degree In Library Science, Information Management, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working With Document Management Systems.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Document Management.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills.
