As the Director of Communications, you will play a crucial role in our organization by overseeing all aspects of our call center operations and ensuring top-notch communication with our patients, staff, and stakeholders.   1. Develop and implement effective strategies for enhancing communication between the call center and patients, staff, and stakeholders.
  2. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the call center, including staffing, training, scheduling, and quality assurance.
  3. Ensure that all calls are answered promptly and handled with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
  4. Monitor call center metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make strategic recommendations.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the organization.
  6. Identify and resolve any issues or complaints related to call center operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve call center operations and customer service.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, staff, and community members.
  9. Manage and lead a team of call center agents, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of customer service.
  10. Develop and maintain call center policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
  11. Create and maintain training materials and conduct training sessions for call center staff to ensure consistent and efficient communication.
  12. Participate in strategic planning and budgeting for the call center department.
  13. Serve as a liaison between the call center and other departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  14. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and a strong customer service culture.
  15. Represent the organization in a professional manner at all times and uphold the mission, vision, and values of MUSC Health.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In A Call Center Or Customer Service Environment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Information To Diverse Audiences.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Communication Strategies And Campaigns.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Industry And Regulations, As Well As Experience Working In A Healthcare Call Center Setting.
