
CRNA Manager - Anesthesia
MUSC Health is looking for an experienced and passionate CRNA Manager - Anesthesia to join our dynamic team in Charleston, SC. This role will be responsible for overseeing the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and support staff of the Anesthesia Department. The successful candidate will have an advanced nursing degree, at least five years of experience in the field of anesthesia, and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team. We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who is committed to providing quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and collaborative approach to the job and serve as a role model for the Anesthesia team. Responsibilities:
- Direct and lead the Anesthesia Department, including supervising Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and support staff.
- Ensure that quality care is provided to patients.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Anesthesia Department.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff and provide feedback, coaching, and guidance to promote professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards for the Anesthesia Department.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of anesthesia trends, technology, and best practices.
- Participate in meetings, committees, and other initiatives to promote collaboration and communication within the Anesthesia Department and across the organization.
- Oversee the budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Develop and implement strategies to address operational challenges and improve the quality of care.
- Serve as a role model and mentor to staff members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Current Certification As A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Crna)
Master's Degree In Nursing (Msn) Or Related Field
Minimum Of Years Of Experience As A Crna Manager Or Equivalent Leadership Role In Anesthesia
Demonstrated Ability To Lead And Manage Multidisciplinary Teams
Comprehensive Knowledge Of The Principles Of Anesthesia Practice
