- Collaborate with different departments and stakeholders to identify and communicate key messages and initiatives.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for MUSC Health and maintain brand consistency across all communication materials.
- Monitor and analyze communication efforts to measure effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Manage media relations and serve as a spokesperson for MUSC Health, responding to media inquiries and arranging interviews.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare communication to continuously improve and innovate.
- Plan and execute events and campaigns to promote MUSC Health's services, research, and educational programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, staff, faculty, community partners, and media outlets.
- Serve as a resource for internal and external stakeholders on messaging, communication strategies, and crisis management.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Communications Role, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Tailor Messaging For Different Audiences.
Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.
