- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children with various mental health challenges.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to develop a holistic treatment approach.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of children in therapy and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and treatment progress.
- Educate and involve families in the therapeutic process, providing support and resources as needed.
- Develop and facilitate group therapy sessions for children with similar mental health needs.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health treatment.

- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss treatment plans and share insights and expertise.
- Collaborate with community agencies and resources to ensure comprehensive care for children and their families.
- Attend trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Advocate for the needs of children and their families within the healthcare system.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for children in the day treatment program.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for children in acute distress.
- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with children to promote trust and rapport in therapy.
Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Counseling, Social Work, Or Psychology
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Children And Adolescents In A Mental Health Setting
Licensure Or Eligibility For Licensure As A Therapist In South Carolina
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches For Children With Mental Health Diagnoses
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Engage With Children And Their Families In A Therapeutic Setting.
