- Assist with any other tasks or duties as assigned by the nursing supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Ged: A Cna At Chester Nursing Center Must Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent In Order To Be Eligible For The Job.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) License: A Valid Cna License Is Required For This Position. This Certification Demonstrates That The Individual Has Completed The Necessary Training And Has The Skills And Knowledge To Provide Quality Care To Patients.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Cnas At Chester Nursing Center Must Have A Current Bls Certification To Respond To Emergency Situations And Provide Basic Life Support If Needed.
Experience In Long-Term Care: Previous Experience Working In A Long-Term Care Facility, Such As A Nursing Home Or Assisted Living Facility, Is Preferred For This Position. This Experience Shows That The Individual Has An Understanding Of The Unique Needs Of Elderly And Disabled Patients.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Cna At Chester Nursing Center, It Is Important To Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Being Able To Empathize With Patients, Listen Actively, And Work Well In A Team.
