- Provide direct patient care: The Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse. This includes taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing basic medical procedures.
- Assist with patient examinations: The CMA or LPN will assist physicians or other healthcare providers in patient examinations, including preparing exam rooms, obtaining patient histories, and assisting with procedures.
- Maintain patient records: This individual will be responsible for accurately recording and maintaining patient information, including medical histories, vital signs, and treatment plans.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety: The CMA or LPN will be responsible for ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout their healthcare experience. This includes monitoring patients for any adverse reactions to treatment and providing emotional support as needed.
