  1. Conduct ultrasound procedures: Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular, with accuracy and precision.
  2. Assist physicians and technologists: Support and assist physicians and technologists during ultrasound procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  3. Maintain equipment: Ensure ultrasound equipment is in proper working condition, troubleshoot any issues, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  4. Patient care: Provide high-quality patient care by preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and addressing any concerns or questions.
  5. Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and any other necessary documentation.
  6. Sterilization and infection control: Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  7. Professionalism: Represent the organization in a professional manner at all times, adhering to ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Certification From An Accredited Program

  • Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In An Ultrasound Department

  • Certification As A Certified Medical Assistant-Certified Ii (Cma-Cii) Through The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama)

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Performing Ultrasound Procedures, Including But Not Limited To Abdominal, Ob/Gyn, And Vascular Studies

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Environment.
