Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field: A Certified Athletic Trainer - Prn At Musc Health Must Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That The Individual Has Received Proper Education And Training In The Field Of Athletic Training.

  • Certification By The Board Of Certification (Boc): Musc Health Requires All Certified Athletic Trainers - Prn To Hold Current Certification By The Boc. This Certification Demonstrates That The Individual Has Met Nationally Recognized Standards For Athletic Training And Has Passed A Comprehensive Exam.

  • Current State Licensure: In Addition To Boc Certification, Musc Health Also Requires Certified Athletic Trainers - Prn To Hold A Current State License. This Ensures That The Individual Is Legally Able To Provide Athletic Training Services In The State Of South Carolina.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience: Musc Health Prefers Candidates For The Certified Athletic Trainer - Prn Position To Have A Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As An Athletic Trainer. This Experience Provides Practical Knowledge And Skills That Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Prn Position, The Certified Athletic Trainer Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate And Work With A Variety Of Individuals, Including Athletes, Coaches, And Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
