- Provide anesthesia care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia plans.
- Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-operative anesthesia care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly prepared and functioning.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.
- Stay updated on current anesthesia techniques and advancements.
- Provide support and assistance to other members of the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Attend trainings and conferences as required.
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Assist with patient transport to and from the operating room.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Current State Licensure As A Speech-Language Pathologist In South Carolina.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology Or Communication Sciences And Disorders From An Accredited University.
Certification Of Clinical Competence In Speech-Language Pathology (Ccc-Slp) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Adult Or Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practice In Speech-Language Pathology, Including Assessment And Treatment Techniques For A Variety Of Communication Disorders.
