- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical applications in order to improve the delivery of healthcare services.
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure the smooth integration of clinical applications into existing systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in healthcare technology to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
- Work closely with clinical staff to understand their needs and provide technical support and training on clinical applications.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of clinical applications to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and healthcare industry standards in regards to clinical applications.
- Manage the budget for clinical applications and make strategic decisions to optimize resources.
- Lead a team of IT professionals and provide guidance and support in their daily responsibilities.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and operations, to develop and implement strategies that align with the overall goals of the organization.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive healthcare information.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to provide updates on the progress and impact of clinical applications.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to clinical applications to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices in clinical applications and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Represent the organization in external meetings, conferences, and events related to healthcare information technology.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Information Technology, Preferably In A Leadership Role
Strong Understanding Of Clinical Applications, Such As Electronic Health Records, Clinical Decision Support Systems, And Revenue Cycle Management Systems
Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Management And Implementation Of Large-Scale Clinical Applications
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams And Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders
