Armed Safety and Security Officer

As a professional Armed Safety and Security Officer at MUSC Health, you will be responsible for providing a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of security and safety protocols and the ability to remain calm and composed in difficult situations. In addition, they should have a clear understanding of the safety and security protocols of a healthcare facility and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate should be able to work all shifts as needed, including nights and weekends. 1. Monitor the safety and security of MUSC Health facilities, patients, visitors, and staff.
2. Respond appropriately to difficult situations.
3. Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols at all times.
4. Maintain records of security activities.
5. Operate and maintain security equipment, such as cameras and radios.
6. Provide CPR and First Aid as needed.
7. Remain alert and vigilant at all times.
8. Remain friendly and approachable towards patients, visitors, and staff.
9. Work independently with minimal supervision.
10. Work all shifts as needed, including nights and weekends.
