  1. Develop and maintain clinical applications used by healthcare providers to improve patient care and streamline healthcare processes.
  2. Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical applications.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, implement and test new features and functionalities for clinical applications.
  4. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clinical applications, ensuring minimal interruptions to healthcare operations.
  5. Train and educate healthcare providers on the use of clinical applications to ensure efficient and effective utilization.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in healthcare technology, and make recommendations for implementation of new tools and systems.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures, for clinical applications.
  8. Collaborate with vendors to ensure smooth integration of new applications and updates to existing applications.
  9. Participate in the testing and validation of clinical applications to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of clinical applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance functionality and user experience.
  11. Adhere to regulatory and compliance standards for healthcare technology, including HIPAA and Meaningful Use.
  12. Act as a liaison between clinical and technical teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  13. Take ownership of projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality work.
  14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of MUSC Health and promote exceptional patient care through the use of cutting-edge technology.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Healthcare Application Support Or Clinical Information Systems.

  • Proficiency In Sql And Database Management.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Regulations And Standards, Such As Hipaa And Meaningful Use.
