- Manage and maintain clinical applications used by healthcare providers, ensuring their proper functioning and efficiency.
- Analyze clinical workflows and identify areas for improvement, utilizing technology to enhance patient care and streamline healthcare operations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clinical applications, resolving any issues that may arise and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and updates to clinical applications, ensuring they meet the needs of the healthcare organization.
- Train healthcare providers on the use of clinical applications, ensuring they are able to utilize the technology effectively for patient care.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in clinical applications, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Communicate and collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and implement updates to clinical applications.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to understand their needs and provide solutions that enhance their experience with clinical applications.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of clinical applications, including user manuals and training materials.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities for new and updated clinical applications.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to clinical applications to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including data security and HIPAA regulations.
- Act as a resource and mentor to other team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve team performance and capabilities.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong commitment to the organization's mission and values.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Clinical Application Support Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Clinical Applications, Such As Electronic Medical Records (Emr), Computerized Physician Order Entry (Cpoe), And Clinical Decision Support Systems (Cdss).
Demonstrated Experience With Troubleshooting And Resolving Technical Issues, As Well As Providing End-User Training And Support.
Familiarity With Healthcare Regulations And Standards, Such As Hipaa And Meaningful Use, And Ability To Ensure Compliance Within Clinical Applications.
