Anesthesiology Physician

MUSC Health is seeking an experienced Anesthesiology Physician to join our world-class medical team. You will be responsible for delivering anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures. You will participate in the planning, management, and delivery of anesthesia care for patients.The ideal candidate for this position should possess excellent clinical skills and judgment, along with a strong commitment to patient safety, quality, and service. The successful applicant must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or equivalent degree, and should be board certified or eligible in Anesthesiology. Preference is given to candidates with at least two years of experience in an academic hospital setting. Additionally, the successful applicant should have demonstrated leadership and teaching experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive, patient-centered anesthesiology care, including planning, management, and delivery of anesthesia services to patients.
2. Ensure patient safety, quality, and service in all aspects of care.
3. Utilize excellent clinical skills and judgment to deliver the highest quality of care.
4. Demonstrate leadership and teaching experience to support the development of the Anesthesiology team.
5. Participate in research, quality improvement, and medical education activities.
6. Remain current and compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a high level of patient care.
8. Work to maintain positive relationships with payers, providers, and other stakeholders.
