- Assist Anesthesiologists: The primary responsibility of the Anesthesia Technician is to provide support to the anesthesiologists during surgical procedures. This includes preparing and setting up equipment, monitoring patients' vital signs, and assisting with any tasks requested by the anesthesiologist.
- Ensure safe delivery of anesthesia: The Anesthesia Technician must be knowledgeable and skilled in administering anesthesia. They are responsible for ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and that the anesthesia is delivered safely to patients.
- Maintain equipment: It is the responsibility of the Anesthesia Technician to regularly clean, maintain, and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition. This includes sterilizing equipment and replacing any faulty parts.
- Monitor patients: During surgical procedures, the Anesthesia Technician is responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs and alerting the anesthesiologist of any changes or concerns. They must also be prepared to respond quickly in case of an emergency.

Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Completion Of A Certified Anesthesia Technician Program.
Current Certification As An Anesthesia Technician Through The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).
At Least 1 Year Of Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment And Procedures, As Well As Emergency Protocols And Safety Measures.
