- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including mammograms, ultrasounds, and MRIs, to accurately diagnose and stage breast cancer.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, including surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists, to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques, such as tomosynthesis and contrast-enhanced mammography, to improve accuracy and detection rates.
- Regularly review and interpret imaging results, providing timely and accurate reports to referring physicians.
- Educate patients on the importance of screening and early detection, as well as the benefits and risks of various imaging procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and developments in breast imaging technology and techniques.
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care, taking into account the physical and emotional needs of patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the breast imaging department.
- Mentor and train residents and fellows in breast imaging techniques and protocols.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Medical Degree: Applicants Must Hold A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board-Certified In Diagnostic Radiology By The American Board Of Radiology (Abr).
Fellowship Training: A Minimum Of One Year Of Fellowship Training In Breast Imaging Is Required. Candidates Must Have Completed An Acgme-Accredited Fellowship Program In Breast Imaging Or Have Equivalent Training And Experience.
Licensure: Applicants Must Hold A Valid And Unrestricted Medical License To Practice In The State Of New York. Candidates Must Also Be Eligible For A New York State Medical License.
Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Breast Imaging Is Preferred. Candidates Must Have A Strong Background In All Aspects Of Breast Imaging, Including Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, Breast Mri, And Image-Guided Breast Procedures.
