- Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, toileting, and dressing.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient's condition to the nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Assist with patient transportation and transfers.
- Assist with feeding and nutrition as directed by the nursing staff.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Nursing Attendant At Mount Sinai Health System Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Ensure Basic Educational Qualifications Are Met.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Cna Certification From An Accredited Program To Demonstrate Their Knowledge And Skills In Providing Direct Patient Care.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Prior Work Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility, Is Preferred For A Nursing Attendant Position At Mount Sinai Health System.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: In Order To Respond To Emergency Situations, A Nursing Attendant Must Be Certified In Basic Life Support (Bls) Techniques, Such As Cpr And Aed.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Nursing Attendant, Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For Interacting With Patients, Their Families, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.
