
Grant Writer
The Grant Writer/Manager is responsible for identifying new funding opportunities, applying for new grants, and reporting, monitoring and ensuring compliance for a portfolio of governmental and private grants. Conduct research on prospective federal, state and city government, institution, NIH, foundation and corporate grants/awards (collectively “Funding Opportunities”) based on defined MSAHC priorities and knowledge of MSAHC direction and programs. Develop, write, and assemble funding applications for all Funding Opportunities. Research primary healthcare, Sexual and reproductive health, mental health and social service related issues and integrate findings including statistics, program models and trends into a work product. Manage and maintain a complete understanding of reporting requirements for MSAHC grants to ensure timely compliance with contract requirements working closely with finance.
Masters preferred
A multi-tasker with strong organizational skills and the ability to respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
At least 3 years of proven expertise in grant writing for federal, state, city and foundation grants
