
Tax Controversy Manager
At Moss Adams, we are looking for a talented, experienced Tax Controversy Manager to join our team. In this role, you will partner with clients and their advisors to resolve federal, state, and local tax disputes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in tax controversy and a passion for helping individuals and businesses navigate the complexities of the tax system.The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in tax controversy. You should also possess a CPA or other professional tax designation, in addition to familiarity with tax laws and regulations.If you have a strong client service focus and excellent problem-solving skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients and their advisors to resolve federal, state, and local tax disputes.
- Provide advice and guidance to clients on tax laws and regulations.
- Investigate and analyze complex tax issues and prepare analysis of findings.
- Develop and recommend strategies to resolve tax issues.
- Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring timely delivery of services.
- Prepare and review tax returns and financial statements.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise clients on potential impacts.
- Represent clients in negotiations with taxing authorities.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding the progress of their cases.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
