
Tax Controversy Manager
We are looking for an experienced Tax Controversy Manager to join our team at Moss Adams. Our ideal candidate is a leader with a proven track record of success and a passion for working in the tax controversy arena. You must have the ability to think strategically and holistically, while managing complex projects and effectively communicating with clients.This role requires someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the tax controversy field, preferably in a public accounting firm. You must be able to demonstrate superior technical tax expertise and the ability to make sound judgments in order to advise clients and defend their positions. You must have a CPA or LLM in Taxation and strong knowledge of tax controversy processes, including working with federal, state, and local tax authorities.If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, a collaborative mindset, and the desire to put your skills to work in a dynamic environment, this could be the right opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex projects and communicate effectively with clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to defend clients' positions in the tax controversy arena.
- Provide technical tax expertise and make sound judgments to advise clients.
- Work with federal, state, and local tax authorities.
