If you have the same passion and commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you!The ideal candidate for State and Local Tax Manager - M&A will possess the following qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SALT tax compliance and consulting in the context of M&A transactions• CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation degree is preferred• Strong knowledge of SALT laws, regulations, and compliance• Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment• Proficient with Microsoft Office SuiteIf you are an experienced SALT professional with a passion for delivering exceptional client service, this position offers an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Moss Adams. Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation and advice on SALT matters related to M&A transactions.
- Develop and execute tax strategies for clients that comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns in accordance with tax laws, regulations, and client requirements.
- Review and analyze financial statements and other client documents for tax compliance.
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations.
- Actively build relationships with clients to ensure accurate and timely service.
- Develop and mentor junior team members.
- Proactively identify potential issues and develop solutions.
- Develop and present tax planning strategies to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with tax law changes and developments.
