Responsibilities:

1. Assess clients’ internal controls and identify risks related to government standards and regulations
2. Develop audit plans and strategies for clients based on their specific requirements
3. Execute audit procedures and compile audit results into meaningful reports
4. Develop and implement financial systems and processes that meet government standards
5. Provide recommendations for improvements to internal controls and procedures
6. Maintain a working knowledge of government audit standards and regulations
7. Monitor and review audit progress against established timelines and budgets
8. Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients
9. Provide guidance and training to junior staff as needed
10. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and developments and pursue professional development opportunities.
