Assurance Manager - Aerospace and Defense

Moss Adams is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager - Aerospace and Defense to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing independent financial assurance services for aerospace and defense clients. This exciting opportunity requires a combination of technical knowledge, industry experience, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.To be successful in this role, you must have a professional certification, such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or CMA, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in assurance services with a focus on aerospace and defense. Responsibilities:

1. Provide independent financial assurance services to aerospace and defense clients.
2. Utilize technical knowledge, industry experience, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Maintain a professional certification, such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or CMA.
4. Utilize advanced knowledge of US GAAP, data analytics, and risk management.
5. Develop and maintain client relationships.
6. Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and other documents.
7. Analyze client data and provide assurance services.
8. Monitor industry changes and new developments, and recommend updates to clients accordingly.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
10. Manage and mentor junior staff.
