We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as the Vice President of Cloud Engineering at Morgan Stanley. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute our cloud strategy, ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud environment.   1. Lead and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure.
  2. Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute our cloud strategy.
  3. Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud environment.
  4. Manage and mentor a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our cloud infrastructure.
  6. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in cloud technology, and incorporate them into our cloud strategy.
  7. Monitor and track performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize our cloud environment.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both within the company and with external vendors.
  9. Implement and maintain strict security protocols to protect our data and infrastructure.
  10. Continuously assess and improve our cloud infrastructure to ensure it meets the needs of the business.
  11. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing regular updates and reports on the status of our cloud environment.
  12. Proactively identify and address any potential risks or issues with our cloud infrastructure.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on cloud technology, providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
  14. Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the cloud engineering team.
  15. Represent Morgan Stanley as a thought leader in the field of cloud engineering, participating in industry events and conferences.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Cloud Computing Platforms, Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud, With A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Architecture And Design Principles.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Cloud Engineers, Providing Guidance And Direction In The Implementation And Maintenance Of Cloud Infrastructure.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Cloud Migration Projects, Including The Development Of Migration Strategies, Execution Plans, And Post-Migration Optimization And Cost Management.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Security And Compliance Requirements In A Cloud Environment, Including Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Data Protection And Risk Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Stakeholders To Define And Implement Cloud Strategies Aligned With Business Goals.
