Job Description

The Vice President, App Integration Engineer at Morgan Stanley is a key leadership role that requires a unique blend of technical and business acumen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing innovative solutions to complex problems and a strong understanding of the financial services industry and our client base.The successful candidate should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a leadership role in software engineering, app integration, or similar fields. They should have a deep knowledge of full-stack development, application integration, and best practices. A successful candidate should also have proven experience leading a team and building successful teams and processes. Finally, they should be a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to think outside the box.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of software engineers and app integration specialists to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  2. Develop and maintain full-stack development, application integration, and best practices.
  3. Plan, coordinate and monitor the activities of the engineering team.
  4. Facilitate collaboration, communication, and problem solving among team members.
  5. Mentor and coach team members to ensure their success.
  6. Assess team performance and provide feedback to ensure the team meets goals and objectives.
  7. Monitor and analyze industry trends and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for growth and development.
  8. Develop and implement strategies to improve the team’s performance.
  9. Work with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.

  • Proven Background In Developing Integration Solutions Using Esb/Etl/Eai Technologies

  • Good Knowledge Of Cloud Integration Platforms (Azure/Aws/Gcp)

  • Experience With Message-Oriented Middleware
