Extensive Knowledge Of Financial Regulations: A Successful Regulatory Relations Professional Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Complex Regulatory Landscape In Which Morgan Stanley Operates. This Includes Knowledge Of Laws Such As The Dodd-Frank Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, And Basel Iii, As Well As Regulatory Bodies Such As The Sec And Finra.
Strong Communication And Relationship-Building Skills: As The Primary Point Of Contact For Regulatory Agencies, The Vp Of Regulatory Relations Must Be An Effective Communicator And Relationship-Builder. This Includes The Ability To Clearly Articulate Complex Regulatory Issues And Build Strong Working Relationships With Regulators.
Experience In The Financial Services Industry: A Strong Background In The Financial Services Industry, Particularly In Areas Such As Compliance, Risk Management, Or Regulatory Affairs, Is Essential For This Role. This Experience Will Provide A Solid Foundation For Understanding And Navigating The Regulatory Landscape.
