Job Description

Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join the Rates Trading Product Control team as Director. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial control and governance over the Rates Trading business while providing operational support to the traders. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and at least five years of experience in a similar role. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to effectively collaborate with multiple teams. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and analyze the Rates Trading business’ financial performance
  2. Provide financial control and governance to ensure the business is compliant with all applicable regulations
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with traders, sales, and other stakeholders
  4. Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies
  5. Monitor the risk profile of the Rates Trading business and provide guidance to traders
  6. Develop and implement financial control systems and processes
  7. Prepare and analyze financial reports to present to senior management
  8. Monitor and review traders’ activities to identify opportunities and potential risks
  9. Provide operational support to traders by leveraging financial and market data
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve the efficiency of the Rates Trading business
