Private Credit Associate

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Private Credit Associate to be a part of our Private Credit team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for investing and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.This individual should have strong financial analysis skills, a deep knowledge of credit markets, and a track record of success in a professional setting. The successful candidate will join a team of experienced professionals who manage a portfolio of private credit investments, including direct lending, structured credit, and distressed investments.The ideal candidate must possess an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, and a minimum of two years of experience in private credit investing, credit analysis, or related fields. The successful candidate must also possess strong communication and organizational skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to quickly build relationships and trust with clients.

Responsibilities: • Analyze credit markets and provide investment recommendations to the Private Credit team • Manage a portfolio of private credit investments including direct lending, structured credit, and distressed investments • Conduct financial analysis of potential investments • Develop and maintain relationships with clients • Analyze market trends and develop investment strategies • Prepare and present investment reports • Monitor portfolio performance and develop strategies to enhance returns • Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful completion of projects • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines
