Job Description

Morgan Stanley is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Private Credit Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the active management of the firm's private credit investments, with responsibilities including underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and credit analysis.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, plus at least three years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or corporate banking. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess a keen understanding of financial statement analysis and credit risk modeling.The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Private Credit Associate must also be able to work independently and take initiative to complete projects in a timely manner.We are looking for an individual who is passionate about private credit and is excited to join our team. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and credit analysis to actively manage the firm's private credit investments.
  2. Analyze financial statements and construct credit risk models.
  3. Foster strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  4. Take initiative to independently complete projects in a timely manner.
  5. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards.
  6. Remain knowledgeable of industry best practices, trends, and developments.
  7. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the firm's strategies, products, and services.
  8. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
