  1. Conduct thorough and comprehensive audits of models and quantitative processes within the financial services industry in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  2. Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in models and quantitative processes, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  3. Analyze and interpret complex data and financial information to assess the accuracy, reliability, and validity of models and processes.
  4. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including model owners, developers, and senior management.
  5. Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization.
  6. Create detailed audit reports and documentation to summarize findings and provide actionable insights.
  7. Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to model risk and quantitative analysis.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for mitigating risk and ensuring compliance.
  9. Monitor and track progress on recommended actions and provide ongoing support to ensure timely and effective implementation.
  10. Continuously review and improve audit processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Experience In Quantitative Modeling: A Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Risk Management Concepts And Techniques, As Well As Experience In Building And Validating Quantitative Models.

  • Expertise In Financial Mathematics And Statistical Analysis: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Financial Mathematics And Statistics, With Experience In Developing And Implementing Complex Models For Risk Measurement And Management.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices: The Role Of A Model Risk Quantitative Auditor Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices For Model Risk Management, Including Basel Ii/Iii, Ccar, And Sr11-7.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Model Risk Quantitative Auditor, The Candidate Should Be Able To Critically Analyze Complex Models, Identify Potential Risks And Limitations, And Propose Appropriate Solutions To Mitigate These Risks.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Involves Working Closely With Various Stakeholders, Including Model Developers, Risk Managers, And Regulators. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effectively Conveying Complex Technical Concepts And Building Relationships With Others.
