Mainframe Engineer

Morgan Stanley is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Mainframe Engineer to join our world-class engineering team. This individual should have a strong technical background and a passion for developing and supporting mission-critical applications. The successful candidate will be able to effectively collaborate with other engineers to ensure that our applications are running optimally.The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, a minimum of 5 years of experience in mainframe engineering, experience with mainframe operating systems such as z/OS, knowledge of programming languages such as COBOL and CICS, familiarity with scripting languages such as Rexx and CLIST, and experience with mainframe tools such as SMP/E and FileAid.
