
Low Latency Network Instrumentation Operations Engineer

If you are an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, have the required qualifications, and are looking to join a team of top-notch professionals, this is the job for you!Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in a related field• 5+ years of experience in low latency network instrumentation and operations• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, and QoS• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and analysis tools• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, etc.)• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills• Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7/365 mission-critical environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy the network instrumentation infrastructure and systems in a low latency, mission-critical trading environment.
- Monitor and analyze network performance and metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain scripts using various scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, etc.) to automate routine network operations.
- Implement Quality of Service (QoS) protocols and other network security measures.
- Identify and recommend enhancements to the existing network instrumentation infrastructure.
- Proactively monitor network performance and uptime, and take necessary actions to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare detailed documentation for all network instrumentation operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Work closely with other teams to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science
Electrical Engineering Or Related Field
+ Years Of Experience In Low Latency Network Instrumentation Operations
