Low Latency Network Instrumentation Operations Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deploy the network instrumentation infrastructure and systems in a low latency, mission-critical trading environment.
2. Monitor and analyze network performance and metrics.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
4. Create and maintain scripts using various scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, etc.) to automate routine network operations.
5. Implement Quality of Service (QoS) protocols and other network security measures.
6. Identify and recommend enhancements to the existing network instrumentation infrastructure.
7. Proactively monitor network performance and uptime, and take necessary actions to ensure smooth operations.
8. Prepare detailed documentation for all network instrumentation operations.
9. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
10. Work closely with other teams to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
