- Monitor and manage liquidity risk for the firm, ensuring adequate liquidity resources are available at all times.
- Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize liquidity resources and maximize profitability.
- Stay informed on market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may affect liquidity management.
- Utilize financial analysis tools and techniques to make informed trading decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as risk management, treasury, and trading desks to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Communicate regularly with senior management and key stakeholders on liquidity risk and trading strategies.
- Conduct stress tests and scenario analysis to assess potential liquidity challenges and develop contingency plans.
- Continuously assess and improve liquidity risk management processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and recommend changes to improve liquidity management.
- Mentor and coach junior traders to develop their skills and knowledge in liquidity management.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to liquidity management.
- Represent the firm in external meetings and conferences related to liquidity management.
- Build and maintain relationships with external parties such as brokers and counterparties.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of trading activities and liquidity metrics.
- Collaborate with technology teams to develop and improve trading systems and tools.
Extensive Experience In Financial Markets: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Global Financial Markets And The Factors That Impact Liquidity. They Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Trading, Preferably In A Similar Role.
