Job Description

Are you an experienced Legal Entity Controller, Associate looking for the next step in your career? Morgan Stanley is looking for a qualified professional to join our team. As a Legal Entity Controller, Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a legal entity across multiple jurisdictions and aligning with corporate accounting and reporting requirements. This is a great opportunity to use your expertise in a challenging and fast-paced environment. We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated and has a strong work ethic, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 3-5 years of financial accounting experience. In addition, the successful candidate will have the ability to interpret legal documents, possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with Oracle EBS and Hyperion is also a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the financial operations of a legal entity across multiple jurisdictions.
  2. Align with corporate accounting and reporting requirements.
  3. Interpret legal documents.
  4. Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. Work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  6. Maintain records and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  7. Monitor and analyze financial performance and data.
  8. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
  10. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial transactions.
  11. Manage audits and other financial projects.
  12. Utilize Oracle EBS and Hyperion systems.
